These are the instrument shapes and sizes that I most commonly offer and serve as a starting point for a conversation about your custom guitar. I am the type of builder who will customize just about aything you wish, whether that be scale length, nut width, saddle spacing, number of frets, woods, neck dimensions, pickups, etc.
I also love to experiment and build truly one-of-a-kind instruments such as my integrations of tongue drums and kalimbas into custom builds. I am always experimenting and prototyping unusual ideas so don’t be afraid to ask about something that is really far off the beaten path.
MK Ultra
A modern fingerstyle guitar fully customizable to your desired specifications. This guitar has a 15″ lower bout, can be constructed with or without a cutaway and a 12 or 14-fret neck join. It can be built to any scale length and string spacing you wish. Additional custom options include integrated tongue drums, arm and waist bevels, fan frets, custom inlays and more.
Concerto Grande
A medium-sized guitar with a 15″ lower bout, and a venetian cutaway. This model has a round lower bout that echoes the classic L1. Nut width, string spacing, scale length, tone woods, neck specifications, and every other facet of the guitar can be fully customized to your needs as a player. This guitar can also be built with tongue drums in the side for the percussive acoustic player.
Modified Dreadnought
My own take on the modified Dreadnought guitar, this larger model has a 16″ lower bout similar to the classic dreadnought but features a more elegant shape with a tighter, forward shifted waist. It can be constructed as shown or with a traditionally centered soundhole. This guitar can also be built with an integrated kalimba and fully customized to your desires as a player.
Acoustic Bass
This is a unique instrument for bassists looking for an upright sound in horizontal format. It is a large instrument with an 18″ lower bout and is configured to use 1/4 size upright bass strings.
