One of the advantages of working with an individual luthier is that you can have your instrument built exactly the way you want it. Many of the builds I do are completely custom, sometimes with unusual features you would never see in a factory or boutique guitar. This makes standardized pricing somewhat difficult, so please use the following information as a guide to get a ballpark idea of what your instrument will cost.
The next step is to contact me and begin a conversation so we can discuss exactly what you want your guitar to be. I will then be able to quote you an accurate price. The price I quote you will be the final price of your instrument unless you decide to add features once the build is underway.

Upgrades and extras
The tonewoods used are the most common customization and I can build your instrument with whatever woods you desire (within reason). If you choose to upgrade your top to European spruce, Adirondack spruce, Redwood or Cedar the price will depend on what I have in my stash, what I can obtain, and what current market prices are. The same goes for the woods used for your backs and sides, fingerboard, and bridge. Please note I do markup wood costs slightly because I am taking the precautions of storing and acclimating it properly, and assuming the risks of destroying it in the build process.
